Of course you do, who does not :) I don't like the hassle C provides me
with; C's on a too low level to do UI programming in my opinion.

Be aware that the autosaving you probably have in mind and implemented
is different from what I mean with continuous save. First and foremost,
an editor can't be both. And when you have to change a preference to
"switch on" continuous save, the whole point is moot, because my mom
doesn't know about continuous save ar autosaving, she just knows how a
sheet of paper works - she can't articulate that what she wants is
continuous save and therefore can't change a preference.

That's true, but if she can ignore them, why have them at all? I don't
want to write an editor that pleases web developers or programmers.
