nautilus is quite simple, however it needs to be exposed to the user.

try running the `gnome-control-center` application.  I prefer this
interface to the one you suggested, but that might be a matter of taste.

It does, the first one is just not easily accessible (exposed) to the
user, the second one, dunno why it isn't in the menu by default.
