Ideally, I'd prefer a WM-agnostic method-- I personally use FVWM with
Gnome.. and the GTK1.2 thing looks like it's basically doing the same
thing as KDE/kwin does, which is rather inelegant. (The menubar can't be
a part of a panel-- it's an independant window)
