I'd strongly suggest looking into using the gnome bugzilla for this
instead of CVS. It is vastly better for tracking this type of issue than
an ad hoc combination of mailing lists and CVS.

P.S. I'd be happy to work with the list to refine the use of the
bugzilla and provide more details on how this could work after this
week; at the moment I'm swamped with post-Labor Day email.
