Yeah. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57394 is about how we
ended up using Ctrl+PageUp and Ctrl+PageDn. What was used before was
Shift+Ctrl+< and Shift+Ctrl+>, which had severe localization problems
since the < and > keys have different modifiers themselves on different
keyboard layouts, which rendered the shortcuts unusable on many layouts.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63700 is about the issue of
gtk+ calling PageUp "Prior" and PageDn "Next".

I have no strong feelings about these shortcuts, as long as they work on
different layouts and don't cause any conflict.
