Hi,
Hi Björn,
I haven't been using tracker since 2013 and I have since completely
reinstalled Ubuntu.
I wonder what the best way to install a relatively new version of
tracker is? I remember it as a bit of a challenge.
Is there a complete list of dependencies or a package script?
I suppose the tracker in ubuntu is old?
Which version do you want? The latest development, or stable, or unstable?
I suppose you could use something like:
apt-get install tracker-*
I use JHBuild for building Tracker versions, which might be a bit of work to get going.
Ubuntu 14.10 has version 1.0.6-0ubuntu1. There is a 1.2.x release out already of course.
It depends on what you're doing with it. Development or purely as a user?
