I agree, we should just remove it. I never liked it anyway (it was a

You think we should remove it entirely or use a top level directory for
removable media?
Sam, any comment on this, I know you've worked on this API in the past
and wanted to know if you had any input here.
Just so you guys know, I would love to get this fixed before the
releases in the next week or so.
I think it's important to update the wiki spec first though so we have a
clear understanding of what we're doing. My suggestion would be:
1. Store in ~/.cache/media-art by default
2. Store in $MOUNT/.cache/media-art/ for removable devices
3. Store no where if we have some option to disable, e.g.
MEDIA_ART_NO_REMOVABLE_CACHE.
