(I think this is a great step to increase the benefit of Tracker on desktop computers. Except Zeitgeist, Nautilus and Evolution I don't know any other applications so far using Tracker.) Is there also support for indexing Thunderbirds contacts and Thunderbirds calendar events (via lightning addon)? If not, shall I fill a bug report?
