[Tracker] Is there support of WordPerfect files?

I am using tracker on Ubuntu 11.10 and am impressed with its functionality. However, I am not able to search wordprefect (*.wpd) files.  Is there a simple work around for this?

Thank you,

John

By the way, in looking through the documentation, I sense that this project is much bigger than I could have imagined.  I am having a difficult time finding an architectural picture that shows how all of the pieces fit together.  It seems that the search window I use on Ubuntu is simply a GUI to the tracker ontologies.  However, when I look at the files found at /usr/share/tracker and /usr/lib/tracker, I do not see any references to .doc or .docx files.  I am guessing that these files are accessing a deeper library which accesses other mapping files.  However, the more I try to look into all of this, I realize that the scope of the project is immense and very well thought out so as to leverage the work of other development projects.  It looks very good.  Sadly, I am not able to locate an architectural document for anything after version 0.6 which would suggest to me how I can write my own extractor, plug in new file types, or otherwise write a null extractor that will dump a file into text format for use by the crawler.  I hope that the architecture will be documented.

Still, my first question is whether there is a work around to allow me to index my wordperfect files.

thank you,

john
