like this is because some of the items in the Nepomuk ontologies are
not always subclasses of nie:InformationElement, and we wanted to
accomodate that. I can't recall the details off hand.
Sound strange to me that you could have an event about something that
isn't a nie:InformationElement. Perhaps events about a nao:Tag?
Good call. I think nao:Tag was one of the reasons here in fact.
It's not a huge deal - although we'd need a Tag class that was a
nie:InformationElement if we ever wanted to log usage of tags, but
we're not doing that now so that's hypothetical at this moment.
