The currently installed D-Bus on my system is from:
libdbus-1-dev_1.4.0-1_i386.deb
libdbus-1-3_1.4.0-1_i386.deb
What about the "dbus" package.
Your dbus-daemon may be < 1.3.1, and thus you would get the "FD passing
unsupported" message.
