Hi,

I see the option to reset the daemon has been removed from the applet.
I find it handy at times especially when testing, as opposed to going
for CLI.

By reset do you mean tracker-processes -r?

No, a simple reset, not removal of DB's.

tracker-processes can also stop tracker but in order to start it again
I have to run both tracker-store and tracker-miner-fs which is
awkward. How do you guys do it (other than logging out, which is even
more awkward).

This shouldn't be necessary in the first place.
We have tried to simplify the applet more. You shouldn't need to restart
anything in Tracker, it should all just work.

Ideally, yeah. But things happen. I expect there'll be an outcry if
you guys don't make it easy for layman to reset the thing if some part
of Tracker gets stuck/explodes somewhere.
