[Tracker] use index on remote machine or forward search request

Dear list,

i'm a complete newbie, so my apologies if my question is stupid or the
answer trivial:
I'm running tracker on my client machines (Ubuntu) and on my file / mail
server (Debian).
Is there a way for the tracker daemons on the clients to use the
server's tracker index or to forward the search request to the server's
trackerd? Otherwise every client would have to build an index of the
(huge) server data..
