Just a patch to highlight the suggested compilation infos, the readme

Hi Michele,

Thank you for the patch. Unfortunately, the first part changes the link for "git" to "the latest unstable release of Tracker using" - that to me would make me think that was the link to press to get the latest unstable release of Tracker. However, it is the link for GIT. So that part of the patch won't be applied unfortunately.

On the patch there was a link to browse the latest code on git. I think it can be useful to have it on the website.

The second part of the patch adds help about how to build the tarballs. It is not normal to include this information. If you don't know *how* to use a tarball, you should not be using it IMO. It raises more questions, like what is this autogen.sh? what are these automake and autoconf, etc, etc. If you look at gtk.org or a lot of other sites, they don't explain this. So I don't think I will apply this part of the patch either I'm afraid. I should add, that your directions are controversial at best. It is not recommended to install use the prefix /usr.

If you don't know how to use a tarball somebody has to tell you (what's the doc for? ;))
My directions were just a mere copy and paste from the README coming with Tracker. Maybe the README needs some love. (cfr lines 127-129)

You guys are active on this so it's really your ball.

Just want to stress that Tracker 0.7+ works and it's amazing. It's unbelievable that a user has to build it from the git 'cause it's still not packaged (at least in ubuntu karmic, stuck with the 0.6.9x).

The goal I had in mind was to lower the barrier for the user which is able to compile and run the latest tracker on his box. If you think this is not the case or it's a user you don't want right now because it's still the unstable version, it's not ready for mass usage or you named it's a choose which you can make with no probl.

Regards,
Michele
