The indexer-split has been merged with the latest from the xesam-support
branch. You can and should checkout that branch if you want to play
around with the Xesam support.
I've moved to that branch, and I did apply all your other hints. Thanks
a lot! My problem was indeed, that I did run trackerd from the build
directory. Now I come until the error message
(trackerd:31929): Tracker-WARNING **: no such table: cache.LiveSearches
Tracker returns immediately the org.freedesktop.xesam.Search.SearchDone
signal, without any hits. Looks like I need indeed to wait for progress
in tracker's xesam implementation.
Especially the Xesam specific ontology data is at this moment in a
broken state, I think. The person responsible for this part of the Xesam
puzzle will be back from holiday next week and will most likely fix
this.
I don't need any ontology information from tracker for the time
being. For the beginning, I would be happy with xesam:url and
xesam:mimeType, just for the tests
Perhaps join #tracker tomorrow (Monday). The developers of indexer-split
and xesam-support will all be available for discussion afaik (I will,
just ping 'pvanhoof').
I'll try it. Not sure I'll be able; too much stress @work (as always).
Thanks again for your support, and best regards, Michael.
