+1.

From my experience with using tracker on Solaris, I think there are some
more patches can be included.

ï- Michal's Thunderbird index feature.
- Jerry's web history feature, I've used this feature for more than two
months, I think it is mature enough.

yes although I would like these updated for xesam in 0.7. they must also
handle deletes and junk email before including by default. As soon as I
have xesam support up I will look at migrating them. Atm I dont want to
add any new services until xesam support is in.

- rick's check remote patch is okay.

we also have hal patch which does the remote mounts and will likely use
that (I assume hal is being ported to solaris)

- My patch on bug ï503376.

its not quite right - for emails you can simply delete the db files
(email.*) which would be a lot faster and simpler

however you would need to close all open email databases first which is
a problem as it could lead to crashes

best bet would force restart and delete files in trackerd.c

Thanks,
Halton.

Hi Jamie et al!

The current trunk has received a fair shair of bug fixes, clean-ups
and and translations, so it should be a solid update to 0.6.4?
Jamie, what do you think? Do you have anything in the pipe? If it's
something big, I'd rather have it to wait post 0.6.5.

While at it, Jamie, what are your plans for 0.7? Have you already
started work on it in a private working copy?
AFAIK, Jamie mentioned the most important feature for 0.7 is Xesam.
Xesam RC2 is about to release.
What about the tokyocabinet patch, which replaces the obsolete qdbm lib?
Yes, I do not like qdbm either.

Questions over questions ;-)

Cheers,
Michael
