Hi Jin,
I think that tracker is using $XDG_CACHE_HOME/tracker. By default
XDG_CACHE_HOME is $HOME/.cache
You can point that variable to the most convenient directory.

Hello Tracker experts,
I built a custom Linux boot cd for the tracker. When I ran the trakerd-0.6.4 on /mnt/hd (mounted
partition), I ran out of the $HOME disk space (tmpfs).
1) Is there any way I can setup my own index cache directory instead of using the default one
(~/.cache/tracker)? So I can use my thumb drive to contain all data like /mnt/thumb/cache/tracker and
/mnt/thumb/local/share/tracker.
2) Should I modify the src code to do this?
3) Soon I will upgrade the tracker to 0.6.6 or to the main trunk. Will this new version handle the above
modification?
Thanks,
Jin
