as we are freedesktop and so are desktop files, I was going to implement
them in  trackerd rather than externally in tracker-extract.

Applications are indepedent of Files and services are currently set in
sqlite db. In the near future we will use desktop files to specify
additional metadata and services but for now I will hardcode it

best thing to do is send me a patch for your code and I can look at
integrating it in the main daemon. I can add all the missing bits for
you over the weekend.
