its only interested in summary files (IE for mbox, files that end in ev-summary). All other files in the email directories are ignored which is the correct behaviour.
OK, but do pop3 accounts get stored in an mbox ? Or do I have to add something manually ?
What version of Evolution are you using?
Evolution 2.9.91 on gentoo.
I cant really say what the problem is from the log file but you are the only one so far to complain its not working for mbox files so I will need to delve further and meed more info from you.
Well someone called Björn, replied to my email shortly before you complaining of the same problem. I think he mistakingly hit reply instead of reply to all. Also one more thing : I have two email accounts in evolution, one is POP3 pulling from gmail and another is IMAP pulling from another server. Both don't get indexed !
Also if you have a small mbox file (not more than a few MBs please!) and its corresponding ev-summary file then feel free to email me them both off list so I can check them. (bzip them please)
