its only interested in summary files (IE for mbox, files that end in
ev-summary). All other files in the email directories are ignored which
is the correct behaviour.

What version of Evolution are you using?

I cant really say what the problem is from the log file but you are the
only one so far to complain its not working for mbox files so I will
need to delve further and meed more info from you.

Also if you have a small mbox file (not more than a few MBs please!) and
its corresponding ev-summary file then feel free to email me them both
off list so I can check them. (bzip them please)

I will be improving our error detection and logging of email problems
shortly so maybe that can shed some more light too.
