I run Ubuntu Feisty with the repo's Tracker 0.5.4.

While Tracker works just fine now, tracker-preferences doesn't exist:

:~$ tracker-preferences
bash: tracker-preferences: command not found
jackn itamar
:~$ tracker-search italy
/home/jackn/files/school/bts2/papers/topics/BTS00-labour-GREEN/bondage in Europe-great.doc
/home/jackn/files/phoenix_backup/jacknn/files/hr_backup/HR-School/BTS/BTS papers/BTS-topics/BTS00-labour-GREEN/bondage in 
Europe-great.doc
/home/jackn/files/school/bts1/general/gci_almost_all.pdf
(snipped).

Is there something I can do to get it?
Do I need to get a package I don't already have (tracker, tracker-search-tool and tracker-utils)?

I'm having "send" problems so this post might appear
more that once, sorry!

using tracker-preferences, whenever I uncheck "index
and watch my home
directory" and hit close, the first entry of
"additional paths to index
and watch" is automatically removed from tracker.cfg

the
following time I open tracker-preferences "index and
watch my home
directory" is checked again, *but* there is no
/home/yelo3 entry in
tracker.cfg.

There is something wrong in the code. using a clean
tracker.cgf (with my home in the list) after adding
from the
preferences GUI some directories to watch, the home is
removed. But
tracker-preferences still thinks that the home is
indexed.
