Hi,
Now, if I change my tracker.cfg through tracker-preferences, I need kill
trackerd and start with '-R'. From common user side, it is kind of
annoying, so I'm thinking a way to restart trackerd when
tracker-preferences is closed.
-R is only needed if you change like the stemmer. Other options take
effect as soon as you restart trackerd
Now my question comes up. Is there any good way to let tracker reload
the configuration without restarting trackerd.
if we used gconf possibly as we can get a callback when a pref changes
We plan on supporting optional gconf (as we are xdg)
