Hi,
I was wondering if there are any plans to integrate tracker search
directly in the gtkfilechooser?
yes along with tags and metadata too - its in the pipeline but probably
a few weeks away.
I am asking because there is a bug open in Ubuntu about beagle integration:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gtk+2.0/+bug/49608
I'm advocating that both tracker and beagle should be able to use this
search facility but only a beagle-centric patch exists:
http://librarian.launchpad.net/4825053/gtk2-filechooser-new-features.diff
Are there any ways to use tracker from the filechooser without
hardcoding stuff into it?
not really cause the file chooser does not support external modules
However for Edgy+1, I will push tracker for desktop wide search to be
integrated.
