Install from cvs fails during configure:
checking for intltool >= 0.22... awk: cmd. line:1: fatal: cannot open
file `./intltool-update.in' for reading (No such file or directory)
awk: cmd. line:1: fatal: cannot open file `./intltool-update.in' for
reading (No such file or directory)
found
./configure: line 23216: test: : integer expression expected
configure: error: Your intltool is too old. You need intltool 0.22 or
later.
I have intltool-0.35.0 installed, and intltool-update.in is in:
/usr/share/intltool/intltool-update.in

dont know for certain as Im not an expert in the area but please try
checking out a clean copy of tracker in a different directory and then
run autogen.sh
the following files should be in the root tracker directory after
running autogen
-rwxr-xr-x 1 jamie jamie 22491 2006-11-08 00:36 intltool-extract
lrwxrwxrwx 1 jamie jamie 39 2006-11-11 17:50 intltool-extract.in
-> /usr/share/intltool/intltool-extract.in
-rwxr-xr-x 1 jamie jamie 35206 2006-11-08 00:36 intltool-merge
lrwxrwxrwx 1 jamie jamie 37 2006-11-11 17:50 intltool-merge.in ->
/usr/share/intltool/intltool-merge.in
-rwxr-xr-x 1 jamie jamie 28077 2006-11-08 00:36 intltool-update

It looks like your local CVS is not up to date. Is it?
Laurent.
Same symptom here, with same intltool version, latest available cvs app, tracker-CVS checkout this morning.
Problem appears to be related to the interaction between intltool.m4 and the rest of the script. Error goes
away if ${ac_aux_dir} is replaced with the actual path of intltool-update.in (i.e. the "." in the script is
bad).
But, sadly, soon after it aborts due to
config.status: error: cannot find input file: po/Makefile.in.in
Regards
Tom
