Hi Jamie,

As for all the warning switches used by compiler like "-W -Wall", I
think we should check if the compiler used is gcc and then decide which
switch to use.
The aclocal.m4 and configure.in form evolution is attached, please check
the section with GNOME_COMPILE_WARNINGS.

I have now applied to cvs most of your fixes (I have removed all the 
extern variables in trackerd.c and made sure the correct non-null 
terminated array is passed to mysql)

Please can you check the cvs version works without any problems on Solaris.
