Hello,

Any news about tracker indexing mailboxes? Especially maildir ones.

Today I've found that Beagle has stopped indexing my emails (I don't
know why) and it doesn't find many of the ones it had index. I'm
having a pretty bad time searching through my thousands stored emails.
It would be great to know, at least, that an alternative is coming.
Im hoping to ship a new version of tracker today with our new metadata
engine which will make supporting emails easier

Which is?

0.5.3 - its not in cvs yet as I have made big changes to DB and am still
fixing bugs at the moment. Once Im satisifed with it I will let you guys
know...

I hope to have email support within a week or two.

Ok... But how did you support summary files + summary-meta files of
Evolution? + all others programs?

dunno yet - I will look into it over XMAS unless you want to do it?

I did some work to parse files summary and summary-meta and I changed
code design for emails, so I would like to continue on it. :-)

I expect to have DB support for emails probably tomorrow so let me know
how you want to proceed.

I will connect on IRC.

Laurent.
