Also, Jamie, any news on the site...we really need to get that up to
collect energy as soon as possible...how can I push on getting this done
sooner rather than later?

Hi,
- First things first -
I'm an early adopter of this wonderful piece of software and I'm
trying to spread and advocate Tracker to the Italian GNU/Linux
community, since quite a bit, here:
http://pollycoke.wordpress.com/tag/zapping-tra-i-tag/progetti-che-seguo/tracker/ (sorry, Italian only). So my
congratulations and thanks go to the developers :)
- Tracker website -
Is there anyone taking care of the Tracker website?
tracker-project.org isn't working here and it seems the older homepage
is pretty abandoned: the downloadable version is still 0.4 and there
are no news or announcements whatsoever. Are there any plans? If
anything, one could use something like wordpress or some other
low-maintenance tool to get the verb delivered. I think Tracker needs
something like that. Ideas?
- Applications Supporting Tracker -
While waiting for GNOME to accept Tracker as a module, it could be
interesting to promote Tracker by pointing at those projects which are
already supporting it. Some sort of simple static page similar to the
one used by Jack Audio to interconnect audio developers back in the
day: http://jackaudio.org/applications
Right now I'm only aware of:
* Nautilus - GNOME file manager
* Deskbar - GNOME search applet & much more
* Zebra - GNOME notes applet, early stages of development
I'd be more than happy to invest some of my spare time mantaining such
list updated
Regards
