This seems to be a good reason. I'm not sure that it could be a common
situation (I mean, it is good to be flexible, but it's not a good idea
to waste efforts making flexible stuff all around) but anyway, as you
said the cost of change is ridiculous for anybody building apps on top
of tinymail.

The question is, will this approach be used for all the interfaces that
offer async methods?
