I disagree here (not that it's relevant); RTM already has a full-featured task system that blows the pants off of Gmail's in terms of power. (Gmail Tasks may get the slight edge in simplicity.) You only really need a Pro account if you want to synchronize with iPhone/BlackBerry/Windows Mobile (which Gmail Tasks can't do anyway).
I don't know if Google has opened up their API, but assuming they
have, it is possible. Somebody just needs to do the work. :-)
