I would rather change the name now or not change it at all.

In propietary software it is common to change the name before the
release
since there is no end-user interaction while the project is in
development.
However in free software you start building you user base as you develop
the
product.

The original name proposal change was trigered when we discovered that
the word "setup" was confusing. First Nat brought the issue up. Then
during
LWE it was very clear that "setup" was thought as something you use once
you install your system and not have to do again. Most of the
installation
programs for Windows apps are called setup.exe. Some of the people that
aproached us during LWE thought that Setup tools was our installer,
others
thought it was the equivalent of a distro installation program, the one
you only run once when you install Linux.

I don't see any benefit of leving the desition for later.
I don't think we would consider renaming evolution before 1.0.

Chema
