It would be a great idea to work together on this. However, for the tool
to be of any use to us needs to match our current arquitecture. We
where not planning to work on this tool in the near future, but if you 
are interested in making it part of the XST tools you are welcomed to
do so.

As arturo said, we could share the backend for configuration and then
you could write a console front end to it.
