Thanks for the reply blaise. I guess that since the project hasn’t been updated for quite some time. I should configure django 1.4 and try to use it instead of going with 1.5. I just want it to work. maybe in the future when i get some time i will think of improving snowy. But if I find time then i would surly help in the project. Thanks again for the conformation that you too are using an old version of snowy. Regards, Bhuvan On Wednesday 28 August 2013 09:07 PM, Blaise Alleyne wrote:

I'm currently running it under Ubuntu 13.04, which is running Django 1.4.5 (whatever is in the repositories). However, I have *not* updated it in a very long time... I'm running on commit f7ed4e60992907c9a46cb661005b52260f7704f8 (Oct 9 2011). The last time I tried to update, probably early 2012, I had some trouble and encountered some errors, and just reverted to that commit and haven't bothered trying to figure out what was wrong (could have easily been me). So, running an operational Snowy server is definitely possible, though I've fallen off the upgrade path and am not sure this project has been super active recently... Hope that helps, Blaise _______________________________________________ snowy-list mailing list snowy-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/snowy-list
