[Snowy] "Invalid signature" error when syncing from Mac to Snowy

Just installed Snowy on Apache with MySQL, and my Tomboy client is the latest one for Mac OS X. All seemed well with the installation, but when I try to sync I get "Failed to synchronise" with a blank details section, and this in the server's error log:

[Thu Feb 17 09:37:00 2011] [error] Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
[Thu Feb 17 09:37:00 2011] [error] WWW-Authenticate: OAuth realm="OAuth"
[Thu Feb 17 09:37:00 2011] [error]
[Thu Feb 17 09:37:00 2011] [error] Invalid signature. Expected signature base string: GET&http%3A%2F%2Fsnowy.malcolm.id.au%2Fapi%2F1.0%2F&oauth_consumer_key%3Danyone%26oauth_nonce%3D967034%26oauth_signature_method%3DHMAC-SHA1%26oauth_timestamp%3D1297953207%26oauth_token%3Dwxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx%26oauth_version%3D1.0

I also noticed in the access log entries like this:

118.107.224.16 - - [17/Feb/2011:22:51:34 +0800] "POST /oauth/authenticate/ HTTP/1.1" 302 - "http://snowy.malcolm.id.au/oauth/authenticate/?oauth_token=3eDxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&oauth_callback=http%3a%2f%2flocalhost%3a8000%2ftomboy-web-sync%2f"; "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13"

Strangely there is a reference to localhost:8000 in that line from the access log, though nowhere do I have that host and port combination configured (though it is hard-coded in core/management/commands/check.py).

Do you have any suggestions? Searching the Web and this list for "Invalid signature" did not help.

Thanks!
