I'm trying to help someone get their Seahorse configuration working.
Unfortunately it's not starting and gives this error from the command line:

** Message: init gpgme version 1.3.2
** Message: DNS-SD initialization failed: Daemon not running

Unless you're looking up keys over DNS-SD, that message should be
innocuous. Is this causing another issue?

Is this the avahi service?

My first guess is to try to start it as:
sudo systemctl start avahi-daemon.service
