is libdbus-glib-1 really needed to build Seahorse ?

Hi,

Since i recently had to build Seahorse (on Debian Sid), i had to
install first libdbus-glib-1

However i've just read that here [1] that libdbus-glib-1 is not
recommended and that GDBus should be prefered on GNOME.

Does Seahorse (3.4/3.6) rely on libdbus-glib-1 or should i have
installed another library ?
