Bug with desktop files

Hi,

I found a dramatic (because sawfish won't start) bug :

When I got this file in my /usr/share/applications :
[Desktop Entry]
Name=R
Exec=R
Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/r.png
DocPath=/usr/lib/R/doc/html/index.html
Type=Application
Categories=Science;Maths


It doesn't work and says : 
"error--> (bad-arg #<closure trim-end> -1 2)"

When I remove the Categories line it works
When I type a longer name in both Name and Exec, it works.

But this program is really called R. And I will not tell their author to
call it otherwise ;) And this dekstop file works with any other
environment I tried.
