Do you use "merlin" extension, or any user-contrib scripts?

Merlin's wmresize.jl may be the cause, though not sure. (I've found it
by web search.) If you have it, try adding
'sawfish.wm.commands.move-resize' at the beginnig of the file, under
"open" clause.
