Has someone around 500 fonts installed?

I was looking to close some ancient bug reports on bugzilla.gnome.org,
I've found this one ( http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80479
) that reports Sawfish dies when there are a lot of fonts available.
Before to install around 500 fonts ^__^, i'm asking if someone that
read the list uses Sawfish in similar scenario...
