Problem building Sawfish

Hello!

My Sawfish worked just perfect till today. I updated
libXft, pango, cairo, freetype and GTK, and now Sawfish fails
at startup with message (error "unknown font type" "Xft").
Sawfish linked with libXft, as well as with pangoxft.
I tried to build it without pangoxft, and then without
libXft, but it's all the same.  Can you please advice 
me something to solve this problem -- I just miss my 
whole desktop :(
