I'm starting to use gnome with an Ubuntu LTSP Server. Sabayon keeps 
crashing upon making the most simple of edits to the xnested profile i.e 
removing the bottom panel.

The forums and mailing lists suggest that this issue is  present on more 
than one distro.

The error basically asks to send the contents of a log file that doesn't 
exist as a bug report.

Is there a fix or an updated version of sabayon?

It would be really good to get it working.
