	Like I said, its done from the Makefile because it uses variables
defined by automake rather than autoconf. Its actually quite common
practive in GNOME for things like .server files. I've no attachment to
the method, so feel free to fix.

	But that's the same behaviour as pretty much anything else. What are
you suggesting?
