to finish this topic:

Fluendo has an mp3 decoder plugin, which can be compiled on Fedora 20 
for ARM without any problem:
http://core.fluendo.com/gstreamer/src/gst-fluendo-mp3/

After installing this gstreamer plugin the detection of the metadata 
works for mp3 files, too.
