renderer-service-upnp is not a renderer. It is a d-Bus API for
controlling media renderers such as Rygel. If you install
renderer-service-upnp on the same device as Rygel, or indeed on any
device connected to the same network, and run it, you should see a d-Bus
API (in d-feet for example) that allows you to control Rygel (e.g.,
play, pause and stop).

If you have trouble getting this to work, we will be able to help you on
the dleyna lists 01 org mailing list.
