Thank You Jens, that worked, I deleted the old data base and changed the setting to false under the tracker and the behaviour is what I saw before.

You have to remove the database in $HOME/.cache/rygel/media-export.db.
Rygel can only upgrade.

That might be two things:
- Database upgrade gone bad
Although this was a very small update only adding one column. Not much
you can do here apart from removing the database (see above).
- You accidentally switched backends.
Check if you have set "enabled=true" in the [Tracker] section. 0.16 uses
a slightly different mechanism to 0.14 to talk to tracker.
