[Rhythmbox-devel] convert music time to human readable value

I am working on a little plugin for my self

now I want to get the music time using props

and it return me a long numbered string

How can i change it to a human readable value?

i use python

how can i hide the main window
and force rhythmbox to use my window instead of that?
is it possible?
