You'll probably need to look at RB's source code to answer those 
questions. I am not sure if there is any documentation for the DBus API 
itself, but there is probably some equivalence between it and the 
GObject API <http://library.gnome.org/devel/rhythmbox/unstable/>. I 
would be surprised however if the introspection information is 
incomplete - it seems like the kind of thing that would be automatically 
generated.
