[Rhythmbox-devel] audio cd doesn't appear in side pane

Hello, when I insert an audio CD, it won't show up in rhythmbox's
side pane. Is there some option to activate I've missed? I'm using
version 0.12.3, I'm on Archlinux and:
$ uname -a
Linux tosharch 2.6.31-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Nov 10 19:48:17 CET 2009
i686 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Below I'm pasting the last part of the output of 'rhythmbox -d' - I
inserted the audio CD at 13:54, after all the loads of output that
occurr on every start up had stopped. If necessary I can put the whole
output online somewhere (it was too big to attach)

btw, why doesn't
$ rhythmbox -d >> file.txt
print the output on the file instead of on the console?
