Re: [Rhythmbox-devel] Exporting to removable media

How about exporting (copying) tracks from a playback-list to somewhere else on the harddrive?

It's always a pain for me to look first where the tracks are located in rhythmbox and then search for them in my folders just to share this special playback-list with friends :(

Sounds like a great idea. I have an mp3 player which just appears as a
usb drive when connected so it'd be nice to be able to work with it in
rhythmbox in the same way you would an ipod.

I have been thinking about a couple of related features it would be

2) Be able to treat removable media as media players. There are a
number of devices that support playing media off of removable flash
drives (particularly phones). Could a plain flash drive be treated the
same as a media player device, using something like a .is_audio_player
file?
