Hello, and a sincere thank you to all of rhythmbox's developers. Keep up
the good work!
I have both .flac and .mp3 files in my music collection, where most of
the .mp3-files are duplicates for transfering to my creative zen v
player.
I organize the music like this:
../Music/Artist/Album/track.flac and track.mp3
(all of my lossless music with duplicates encoded in mp3)
../Music/Other/track.mp3
(music I only have in .mp3)
There is no way, at least one that I'm aware of, to dynamically remove
duplicate files and choose a preferred file format for my music. Hence,
I created a dynamic playlist: "where path contain .flac or Other".
Also, it is a bit annoying when I have to import my audiobooks for
transferring to my creative zen v, and they show up in Music.
What do you think about a filtering-option like the dynamic playlists
have in Music? Default would be no filtering, and e.g. when the
podcast-plugin is enabled, filter is set to exclude the podcast folder.
If an audiobook plugin is made and enabled, this folder is excluded from
the database.
