Well, i've just uploaded version 0.2, which uses xdg-open, so it will

After 2 months, I remember that that plugin never worked for me (eather
xfce4 nor GNOME desktop environment).
That is the error from shell:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File
"/home/giopas/.gnome2/rhythmbox/plugins/rb-open-folder-0.2/rb-open-folder.py",
line 56, in open_folder
dirpath = uri.rpartition('/')[0]
AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'rpartition'
Thanks for your help and work (unfortunatelly I'm not a dev/coder/geek
at all...).
enjoy, ;)

"The paradigm of competition is a race: by
rewarding the winner, we encourage everyone
to run faster. When capitalism really works
this way, it does a good job; but its defenders
are wrong in assuming it always works this way.
If the runners forget why the reward is offered
and become intent on winning, no matter how, they
may find other strategies--such as, attacking
other runners. If the runners get into a fist
fight, they will all finish late."
